Fingerprinting Privacy Statement - required for FBI Criminal Background Check and Fingerprinting - Fee of $32.00 may apply

Questionnaire Regarding PERSI Membership - All new District employees must complete this brief questionnaire and return to Human Resources.

Sick Bank Information Page - benefit eligible employees will automatically be enrolled in the sick bank. Visit the webpage for more information or to opt-out.

Voluntary Retirement Savings Plans
Employees have the option to contribute to tax-deferred retirement savings plans such as 403(b), Roth 403(b), 457(b), and the PERSI Choice 401(k). Please click HERE for more information on these plans and how to enroll.

Parental Consent Form – Required for all employees under 18 years old. Must be signed by a parent or guardian.

Submit one of the following:

Unofficial transcripts showing at least 48 U.S. accredited semester college credits

An Associate’s degree or higher

ParaPro Assessment (Praxis) results

🔹 Employees Transferring from Another Idaho School District

Sick Leave Transfer Request – Complete this form only if you are bringing over unused sick leave from a previous Idaho school district.
🔹 Food & Nutrition Services Employees

Fraud Certification Form – Must sign to acknowledge your agreement not to engage in fraudulent activity.

Effective July 1, 2022, newly hired Classified employees may be eligible to receive up to two years of credit toward movement (steps) on the Classified Salary Schedule based on prior relevant work experience.
To be considered for this credit:

Download and complete the top section of the Employment Verification Form.

Submit the form to your previous employer(s) for them to complete.

Return the fully completed form to Human Resources no later than the date of your fingerprinting and onboarding appointment.
Timely submission of this form is essential to ensure proper salary placement based on your eligible experience.
Program Overview
The New Classified Employee Credit for Years of Experience Overview outlines the guidelines and eligibility details for the Classified Employee Prior Experience Credit Program.
Employment Verification Form
If you are a newly hired classified employee with prior experience in a role that closely aligns with your new position, you may be eligible to receive credit for that experience. To apply, complete the top portion of the Employment Verification Form and send it to your previous employer for completion.
To be considered for experience credit, the fully completed form must be submitted to Human Resources no later than your fingerprinting and onboarding appointment.

What to Expect After Completing Your Onboarding Requirements
Once all onboarding requirements are completed, here’s what you can expect next:

Benefits Enrollment: If you’re working 20 hours or more per week, you’ll receive an email with instructions on how to enroll in employee benefits.

Absence Management Login: You’ll be given login details for Absence Management, the District’s system for substitute placement and tracking absences.

District Email & Network Access: You’ll receive a Boise School District email account and login credentials for the District’s computer network.
-
Your email address will follow the format: firstname.lastname@boiseschools.org (subject to availability).
-
Your default password will be your employee ID number followed by “Bsd” (example: 123456Bsd).

Employee Online Access: You’ll receive a mailed letter with instructions for accessing Employee Online through the District Intranet. There, you can:

View your pay stubs
