School Start Times

  • Regular Days: 8:45 a.m. – 3:15 p.m.

  • Early Release Days: 8:45 a.m. – 1:15 p.m. (Lunch is served)

To help manage transportation costs, ten elementary schools follow a later start and end time than the standard schedule. These schools include:

  • Amity

  • Dallas Harris

  • Hawthorne

  • Hillcrest

  • Lincoln Early Learning Center

  • Lowell

  • Morley Nelson

  • Owyhee

  • Riverside

  • Shadow Hills

  • Whittier

Schedule:

  • Regular Days: 9:15 a.m. – 3:45 p.m.

  • Early Release Days: 9:15 a.m. – 1:45 p.m. (Lunch is served)

Start and end times may vary slightly by school—please check with your specific junior high for exact times.

  • Regular Days: 7:45 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.

  • Early Release Days:

    • When elementary schools also release early: 7:45 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. (No lunch served)

    • When elementary schools are on a regular schedule: 7:45 a.m. – 1:15 p.m. (Lunch is served)

As with junior highs, senior high start and release times may vary slightly by school. Confirm exact times with your specific high school.
