The PERSI Choice 401(k) Plan

The PERSI Choice 401(k) Plan is a voluntary retirement savings option, and this plan is administered by Empower. It supplements your PERSI Base Plan (if applicable), and you can choose from several investment fund options within the PERSI Choice 401(k) Plan to create a diversified portfolio.

 

To Get Started:

  1. Log in to Employee Online
  2. Go to Payroll Information
  3. Fill out the 401(k) Paycheck Contribution Election form, and submit it to Payroll at the DSC

All employees, including part-time employees and substitutes, may now contribute to the PERSI Choice 401(k) plan.

403(b) Tax-Sheltered Annuity (TSA) Plan

A 403(b) tax-sheltered annuity (or TSA) plan is a voluntary retirement plan administered by The OMNI Group. Employees set aside pre-tax dollars in an individual account. Taxes are paid when the employee takes a withdrawal from the account. The Boise School District does not contribute to 403(b) plans.

 

To Get Started:

  1. Establish an account with one of these Approved Vendors
  2. Complete and submit the Salary Reduction Agreement to OMNI Group
  3. OMNI Group will validate your plan and then notify the Boise School District’s Payroll Department to begin deducting the monthly contributions from your paycheck

All Boise School District employees are eligible to participate.

457(b) Deferred Compensation Plan

A 457(b) deferred compensation plan is a voluntary retirement savings account administered by The OMNI Group. Employees set aside pre-tax dollars in an individual account. Taxes are paid when the employee takes a withdrawal from the account. The Boise School District does not contribute to 457(b) plans.

 

To Get Started:

  1. Establish an account with one of these Approved Vendors
  2. Complete and submit the Salary Reduction Agreement to OMNI Group
  3. OMNI Group will validate your plan and then notify the Boise School District’s Payroll Department to begin deducting the monthly contributions from your paycheck

Only Benefit Eligible Employees of the Boise School District are eligible to participate in these plans.
